Sony FE 28-70 mm f/3.5-5.6 OSS OEM Lens

Sony 28-70 mm f/3.5-5.6 OSS is a lens designed for full-frame mirrorless cameras of the Sony system. The universal focal range combined with the lightweight and compact design makes it an ideal solution as a first lens. Therefore, often full-frame cameras are sold in sets with this lens. The built-in stabilization makes it perfect not only for shooting but also for filming.

Features and benefits

Universal zoom offers a focal range of 28 to 70 mm with variable f/3.5-5.6 light. Thanks to the built-in image stabilization Optical SteadyShot, in addition to photographers, it will also be appreciated by film enthusiasts. Its construction is 9 lenses in 8 groups. Including three aspherical lenses and one of ED glass.

Advanced design

The construction of the lens consists of 9 lenses placed in 8 groups. The design uses as many as 3 aspherical lenses and one ED glass lens. This allows you to achieve sharp, contrasting images without distortion. Despite its advanced design, the lens design is lightweight (only 295 grams) and small (72.5x83 mm). The small size of the lens perfectly complements the light and handy body of the camera making the set, which can be taken with you almost anywhere. The 55 mm filter mounting diameter reduces the cost of purchasing filters.

Built-in image stabilization

Thanks to the built-in Optical SteadyShot image stabilization, hand vibrations will be almost completely eliminated. The stabilization exposure time can be about 3-4 EV longer than without. This solution allows you to shoot in low light conditions without the need for a tripod. What’s more, the stabilization in the lens works with the stabilization used in some Sony cameras to increase its efficiency.

Sealed housing

The sealed lens design combined with the sealed camera body allows you to shoot and film in adverse weather conditions. So you can shoot with confidence on skis, the beach or in light rain.

NOTE: OEM version, no original box, only included: lens, covers, lens sunshade.
