The control panel is easy to use, the radio is controlled using seven buttons and a large volume knob. Basic information is displayed on the LCD display

The radio body is made of durable plastic. The edges are additionally protected by soft rubber absorbers, and the loudspeaker is protected against damage to the diaphragm. The device is IP44 rated, and all switches and sockets are protected against moisture ingress.

The device can be powered by six R14 batteries or by an AC adapter. Next to the lockable battery compartment there is an AUX pocket with a cable for connecting an audio source.
