About the brand Focal
FOCAL is different from almost all other speaker brands. As a few, they are indeed engaged in the production of loudspeakers themselves in the production plant located in Saint-Étienne in southern France. FOCAL manufactures and distributes car speakers, speakers for home audio systems, and specialized speakers for the hi-fi market. The company was founded in 1980 by Jacques Mahul, and is still run by him.
