Description of the original:
The Mil Mi-24 assault helicopter entered service in the Soviet armed forces in the early 70s. Twentieth century. Known for its distinctive and easily recognizable design, it was characterized by high firepower. The rugged hull and robust armor provided the Mi-24 with a significant role in the armed forces of the Eastern Bloc countries and was used in many theaters of warfare. Over time, the Mi-24 underwent continuous modernization of weapon systems and on-board avionics. Among the versions produced, the Mi-24P "Hind-F" was equipped with a powerful, double-barreled cal cannon. 30 mm, mounted on the right side of the fuselage. The latest variant is the Mi-35P, produced since 2020.
