How to properly squeeze in a fruit press

We do not put hard, fresh fruits (apples, pears, etc. or large stone fruits in it, which will damage the press!

Fruits should be processed, i.e.:

- after fermentation in pulp,

- after maceration with tincture,

- after treatment with a pectolytic preparation, softened.

After pouring the fruits properly processed in the “bag” into the press, we start the first twist of the press. We tighten the plunger until the juice or tincture starts to flow. If it starts to fly, we stop turning. When the liquid stops leaking after a while – we tighten again.

We resume the action until the liquid is squeezed out of the fruit mass. If the liquid stops flowing from the fruit, we do not try to force the press!!! Otherwise, we will bend and destroy the press support beam. Make sure that the fruit is properly prepared for squeezing so as not to damage the device.
