U-type guide roller

Most standard migraines are equipped with “V” rollers, which are ideal for hard steel wire. However, aluminum is soft and delicate, so it requires a completely different approach.

Why is a U-profile necessary?

• Deformation protection: The U-groove roller gently wraps the aluminum wire instead of digging into it (as a V-roll does). Thanks to this, the wire retains its perfectly round cross-section and does not lock in the current tip.
• Elimination of "squirreling": Using the wrong roll causes the wire surface to be cut. The resulting aluminum filings quickly clog the Teflon cartridge, which leads to jerking the arc and the need to interrupt work.
• Stable feed without slipping: Specially contoured groove ensures maximum grip with minimal pressure. It is crucial to avoid the so-called. "bird's nest" (wire tangles) at the feeder
