• MIG/MAG - welding with a hot melt electrode (in the form of wire wound on a spool) in a gas shield. It is a popular welding process that is characterized by high efficiency and good quality of the welded joint. Semi-automatic MIG/MAG welding is one of the most popular methods both in workshop conditions as well as in high-performance production. This method is also relatively easy to learn by novice users.

• FCAW (FLUX) - a popular variant of the MAG method - semi-automatic welding with a hot melt electrode (welding wire on a spool). The main difference is that it is welded with a special self-shielding wire, which does not require the use of shielding gas. Simplifying, we can say that this method combines two processes: MAG welding and MMA electrode welding.

• MMA - the oldest variety of arc welding - the so-called. welding with a wrapped electrode. This is probably the best known and widespread welding method. The type and diameter of the wrapped electrode is selected depending on the type of material being welded.

• Inductance - optimizes arc characteristics depending on the thickness of the welded material. This function is useful when welding thin elements using the MIG/MAG method - it prevents them from burning out (the thinner the inductance element should be greater). Inductance affects the shape of the weld, its width, depth of melting and the number of splashes,
