The ProMIG-200 welder can be powered from a power generator, provided that:

• the unit has voltage stabilization (AVR),
• its continuous power is a minimum of 6,5 to 7 kW,
• The recommended power is 7 kW with AVR if you plan to weld at full power (200 A).

The 5,5 to 6 kW unit with AVR is sufficient for typical workshop work with currents up to 160 to 180 A.

The welder can work with longer extension cords:
