TECNO MIG 280 4x4 DIGITAL MMA – PROFESSIONAL 2-IN-1 WELDER

TECNO MIG 280 4x4 DIGITAL MMA is an inverter semi-automatic welding machine designed for arc welding by the following methods:

• MIG/MAG – semi-automatic welding in protective gas shielding,
• MMA – welding with wrapped electrode
• FLUX (FCAW) – self-shielding wire welding without the use of protective gas

TECNO MIG 280 is used for welding aluminium and its alloys, stainless steel and carbon and low alloy steels. Welding is carried out in an inert or active gas shield.

The device is ideal for:

• production and assembly of steel structures
• repair and maintenance of agricultural machinery equipment,
• creation and processing of metal elements.

Welding can take place in protective gas shield (inert, active) or without gas shield (FLUX, MMA).

With support for three welding methods –MIG/MAG, MMA and FLUX – the welding machine is designed to handle a variety of tasks in the workshop and on the construction site. Inductance adjustment allows for precise adjustment of welding parameters, which is crucial when working with various materials and thicknesses.

⚙ Welding MIG/MAG

It is a versatile metal joining method that uses an electric arc and a gas shield. The electric arc is produced between the hot melt electrode and the welded material. The electrode in the form of a welding wire, acts as a binder, which, after mixing with the native material, forms a weld.

The MIG/MAG method ensures high weld quality, efficiency and ease of use, ideal for working with a variety of materials. Allows for precise e.g. combination of black steel, stainless steel and aluminium. Thanks to its versatility, it works well in industry, workshops and home repairs, guaranteeing durable and aesthetic welds.

⚙ MMA (Manual Metal Arc)

It is a method of welding with a wrapped electrode, in which the electric arc melts the base metal and the electrode. It is one of the oldest and most versatile techniques, ideal for welding carbon steel, stainless steel and other materials.

Thanks to its ease of use and resistance to weather conditions, MMA welding is often used in construction, industry and repair work.

⚙ Self-shielding wire welding FLUX without gas

Semi-automatic welding with a special self-shielding wire, which does not require the use of shielding gas as in the MAG method. Special wire is usually available in D100 and D200 spools weighing 0,5kg, 1kg and 5kg. Welding with this method combines the advantages of MAG and MMA methods.
