Weldman ARC 203 inverter welder made in IGBT technology for welding with DC electrodes.
Designed for welding with rutile and alkaline electrodes up to 4 mm of various steel grades (low carbon, low alloy, stainless, etc. ) and cast iron.
The welder has a digital display of welding current, equipped with a simple system of lights. LEDs on the front panel indicate that the power supply is connected (green LED) or turned off due to overload (red LED).
The device is equipped with electronically controlled smooth regulation of welding current and special protection of equipment against overload (overvoltage, undervoltage, overload and overcurrent).
The welder has functions to facilitate welding:
- HOT START (hot start) increases the welding current when arcing to facilitate electrode ignition.
- ARC FORCE (arch dynamics) shortens the arc length when increasing the welding current by optimizing the transfer of a drop of molten electrode to the welded material, preventing the arc from being extinguished when the electrode comes into contact with the welded material.
- ANTI STICK reduces welding current by preventing the electrode from sticking to the welded material.
The small and lightweight design makes the welding machine applicable in semi-professional repair work in workshop conditions as well as in field work.
