SHERMAN TIG WELDING MACHINE 210 ACDC PULSE

The latest generation device, designed for professional applications. It is made in IGBT technology and equipped with digital control.

The use of inverter technology resulted in a significant reduction of dimensions and mass of devices, which allows their operation in particularly difficult to access places.

Used for manual welding by method

The welding machine allows full adjustment and control of all welding parameters of characteristic arch and pulse.

During welding using the TIG method, it is possible to regulate increase and decrease of current, outflow and outflow of gas and parameters of pulse and current AC.

It has HF ignition, 2T/4T function and display indicating welding current. The device is characterized by excellent welding properties, it is recommended especially for professionals.

IGBT TECHNOLOGY

The basis for the construction of the electrical energy conversion system of the welding machine are electronic systems made in IGBT technology enabling operation in the frequency range above 200 kHz.

DEGREE OF PROTECTION

IP determines the degree to which the device is resistant to solid and waterborne contaminants entering. IP21 means that the device is adapted to work in closed rooms.

PROTECTION AGAINST OVERHEATING

The IGBT module is protected from overheating by a protective installation that turns off the welding circuit of the device. After a few minutes, the welding machine cools down to a temperature that allows it to be switched on again automatically

MMA

A method in which a wrapped electrode is used, consisting of a metal core covered with a sheath. The welder feeds the electrode as it melts into the welded object so as to maintain a fixed-length arc.

TIG AC/DC

It enables TIG welding with alternating current. This is required for welding aluminum and its alloys.

WORK CYCLE

The work cycle is based on a 10-minute period. Working cycle 60% means that after 6 minutes of operation of the device, a 4-minute break is required. The 100% duty cycle means that the device can work continuously, without interruptions.

POSTURE CURRENT

Current responsible for maintenance of the welding process, the lower value of the current pulse. It makes it easier to control the amount of heat introduced into the material.

INITIAL CURRENT

Current appearing in the circuit after pressing the button in the handle. The higher the initial current, the easier it is to light the arc.

However, when welding thin sheets, too high an initial current value can lead to sheet metal burning. In some welding modes, the current does not increase to heat the welded element.

CRATER CURRENT

Current used in some welding modes, when the arc is not extinguished immediately after the phase of falling welding current. It allows you to fill the crater and the end of the weld.

2T/4T OPERATING MODE

2T - Two-bar mode - pressing the button in the handle of the handle turns on the ionizer and lights up the arc. Welding is carried out with the button pressed.

4T - Four-bar mode - pressing the button in the handle will turn on the ionizer and light the arc then release the button and conduct welding with the button released. Pressing the button again will complete the welding.

TIME OF CURRENT DROP

TIME OF ELECTRICITY BUILD-UP

The time of current build-up of welding from the initial current to the set value of the welding current.

TIG PULSE

It affects the shape of the weld and focus of the arc. Pulse welding also reduces the amount of heat supplied to the material and is applicable when welding thin materials.

TIME OF PRE-EXHAUST GAS

Time from pressing the button in the handle to the moment the arc is lit. Usually it should be longer than 0,5 s to deliver the shielding gas to the nozzle outlet of the burner. to cover the welding start site and the tungsten electrode.

In the case of a longer pipe supplying gas from the cylinder, the pre-flow time should be longer.

GAS OUTFLOW TIME

Time from arc extinction to closing the gas valve. to shield the solidifying welding lake from air and to cool the tungsten electrode.

Too short outflow time may result in oxidation of the weld.

PULSE WIDTH

Pulse duration, allows you to adjust the depth of melting. The increase in width increases the depth of melting, reducing the amount of heat introduced into the material, reducing the risk of burning thinner sheets or smaller elements.

PULSE FREQUENCY

Frequency with which the value of the current pulse changes between the welding current and the base current.

FREQUENCY OF CURRENT AC

Function useful for welding aluminum. The higher the frequency, the better the quality of the weld and the better the focus of the arc.

AC CURRENT BALANCE

The ratio of the duration of the positive phase of the current to the negative phase. Reduction of balance causes more heat to be introduced into the material, resulting in a narrower weld and deeper melting, while reducing the thermal load on the tungsten electrode.

Increasing the balance causes less heat to be introduced into the material, resulting in better cleaning, a wide weld and shallower melting, but significantly burdens the tungsten electrode.
