DESCRIPTION OF INDIVIDUAL FUNCTIONS OF THE WELDING MACHINE:

⭐ SYNERGY - is a ready-made program, thanks to which, based on several entered data, it facilitates the preparation of the device for work in an appropriate way. Synergy is a great convenience for DIYers as well as professionals.

⭐ PULS - pulsed current welding, in which high and low current is alternately used. This reduces overall heat supply and splatter while providing greater resistance to non-melting. This method can be used to weld both metals with high thermal conductivity and thinner metals without burning them. Additionally, you can get narrower and more penetrating welds on thicker metals.

⭐ DOUBLE PULSE - ensures better transfer of the binder into the welded material, which fundamentally improves control over the welding process and the quality of the weld itself. It allows you to work in all positions and is especially useful for forced positions. It provides less heat impact, works well in the case of thinner materials or those with increased thermal conductivity, such as: aluminium alloys. Reduces the amount of chipping. The most advanced welding method, in which current pulses occur in two ranges, thanks to which we obtain the optimal aesthetics of the weld face, the so-called. husk effect.

⭐ SOLDERING - is a method that is quite similar to MIG/MAG welding, but the energy supplied in this case is much less. This means that soldering is used to join thin sheets covered with a layer of zinc. The described method is a bonding process during which solder melts, not the material we work with.

ADDITIONAL FUNCTION OF THE WELDING MACHINE:

⭐ POSSIBILITY TO CONNECT SpooLGun HANDLE - SpoolGun welding torch with built-in wire feeder is used for MIG/MAG welding. It is mainly used in car workshops and in welding thin sheets.

⭐WIRE TEST - Pressing the wire feed button will start the wire feeder motor without starting the shielding gas outflow. The power source is also activated, but does not provide welding current.

⭐ TWO-BAR 2T - pressing the button initiates gas outflow and welding current, releasing the button turns off welding current and gas outflow.

⭐ FOUR-BAR 4T - pressing and releasing the handle button initiates gas outflow and welding current, re-pressing and releasing the button turns off the welding current and gas outflow.

⭐ SLOW FEED - regulation of the access speed of the wire, allows stable glow especially in cases of high speed of wire feeding. It reduces the risk of welding defects at the beginning of the weld to a minimum.

✅ INVERTER TECHNOLOGY IGBT-ang. Insulated Gate Bipolar Transistor - is a modern technology based on bipolar transistors with an isolated gate. It combines the ease of control of field transistors with high breakdown voltage and switching speed of bipolar transistors. The use of IGBT technology has the effect of significantly extending the reliable operation of welding equipment.

VRD - is a voltage reduction system whose task is to turn off the power supply within a few milliseconds after finishing welding. This function is also responsible for reducing the voltage on the wrapped electrode to a safe level.

✅ ARC FORCE - "arch dynamics" - shortening the arc length is accompanied by an increase in welding current, which stabilizes the arc, regardless of its length. Reducing the value of the function gives a soft arc and a smaller depth of melt, while increasing the value of the function causes deeper melting and the possibility of welding with a short arc.

HOT START: facilitates the ignition of the electrode by providing more welding current with each arc.

WAVE CONTROL: precise adjustment of arc dynamics, provides full control over the welding arc – minimizing the number of welding chips. It also allows you to control the width and depth of melting.

BURN BACK: control of the burning time of the end of the wire, eliminates the risk of welding wire sticking to the current tip. It also facilitates short joints during MIG/MAG welding.

⭐EURO CONNECTOR - sthe brewer has a EURO socket for MIG welding wire. The socket allows you to quickly change the handle to the same standard.

Self-shielding wire can be used in single and multi-layer welding processes, using current sources with both flat and falling characteristics. Inductance adjustment allows optimization of arc characteristics depending on the thickness of the welded element and the welding method and conditions.

The function is useful during MIG/MAG welding of thin elements, preventing them from burning out and soldering galvanized elements.

The thinner the MIG/MAG welded element, the higher the inductance (soft arc - less melting), for thick elements vice versa (hard arch - greater melting).

The standard neutral inductance setting is in the middle of the scale.

Changing the inductance value also reduces the amount of welding chips during CO2 shielded welding.

The optimal setting of the inductance value depends on several factors and may differ from the standard recommendations, it should be selected during welding tests by manipulating the potentiometer knob.

Migomat by SPARTUS is a device with a wide range of applications, designed as an inverter power source enabling welding with hot melt wire in a gas shield MIG/MAG or FCAW self-shielding wire (after changing polarity), welding with a buffer electrode MMA, as well as the TIG Lift method.

✔ MIG/MAG welding

Arc welding in gas shields is one of the most commonly used processes for the manufacture of welded structures. The semi-automatic welding process involves melting the edges of the welded object and the material of the hot melt electrode with the heat of an electric arc glowing between the electrode in the form of a solid wire and the welded detail, in an inert or active gas shield.

Welding MMA

In the MMA method, a wrapped electrode is used, consisting of a metal core covered with a sheath. An electric arc is produced between the end of the electrode and the welded material. Arching is created by touching the end of the electrode to the welded material.

Welding TIG LIFT

In the TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) method, the electric arc is ignitioned in an inert gas (argon) shield between the welded element and the non-melting electrode, made of pure tungsten or tungsten with additives. In TIG DC Lift mode, the arc glow occurs when the electrode comes into contact with the welded element. In TIG DC mode, the current is constant. It allows welding of steel and its alloys.
