AUTOMATIC SELF-TINTING VISOR SHERMAN V6b PROFI

The Sherman-profi V6b automatic welding visor is designed to protect the eyes and face from sparks, chipping and harmful radiation during electric welding, soldering, soldering, and grinding.

Automatic blackout filter automatically changes from light to dark when the arc is ignited, and when the welding is finished, it becomes bright again. The blackout filter has the highest optical class 1/1/1/1, ensuring complete safety of the welder. The use of TRUE COLOR full color reproduction technology ensures high comfort of work.

The V6a visor has three external knobs that allow you to adjust the darkening degree from 5 to 13 according to DIN, smoothly adjust the sensitivity of photosensors to the arc intensity during welding and smoothly adjust the delay time of switching the dark/bright state.

It is also possible to choose grinding mode, in which the blackout filter switches to a bright state without the option of adjusting the blackout

Four photosensors guarantee the correct operation of the visor in all conditions and positions, which is particularly important when welding with low currents.

Sherman-profi V6b provides complete protection of the eyes and face against ultraviolet and infrared radiation. The UV/IR protection level is 16 (DIN), even when the filter becomes bright.

The visor is ready for immediate use, it only requires adjustment to the size of the welder's head and the selection and setting of appropriate performance parameters.

TEST

The "Test" button is used to check the correct operation of the filter. Select any darkening degree from 0 – 13 and press the button. The filter will go into a dark state. When you release the button, the filter will lighten.

DELAY ADJUSTMENT

The knob is adjustable delay switching the filter from dark to light after welding. Short delay time is recommended during short welds and during spot welding. The long delay time works well when welding with high currents.

SENSITIVITY ADJUSTMENT

Sensitivity adjustment is implemented with a knob. The sensitivity setting depends on the process, lighting and other ambient conditions.

Usually, low sensitivity works well when welding with large currents and under conditions of intense natural lighting. High sensitivity is recommended when welding with low currents in low light conditions.

TRUE COLOR

A useful feature, thanks to which the welder can see the actual colors during welding, has a more sharpened image and better visibility.

HEADER ADJUSTMENT

The Sherman-profi V6a automatic welding visor is equipped with a special ergonomic tilting system, changing its center of gravity relative to the welder's head. Adjust the visor mounting straps so that it is as low as possible on the head and as close to the face as possible.
