DESCRIPTION

Easy Clean INOX EC-102 is a professional device for electrochemical etching and cleaning of stainless steels with polishing function. It is a process in which contaminants formed after welding, such as rust, heat discoloration and blemishes, are removed from metal surfaces under the influence of mild electrolytic fluids and electric current.

The new version of the EC-102 is equipped with additional power regulation functions, depending on the need for cleaning intensity of the workpiece.

The Easy Clean INOX EC-102 device is designed for cleaning welds (removing discoloration after the welding process) made on stainless steel, polishing welds and weld areas (in the case of polished steel elements), and cleaning and renovation of stainless steel surfaces.

When designing the device, the main assumptions were:

- efficiency - Thanks to mobile equipment, manual, electrochemical cleaning of welds can be done anywhere. Unlike electrolytic baths, which can only be carried out in stationary production areas.

- universality - Manual cleaning of welds is most often performed locally (weld area and heat affected zone). This is a much more delicate and precise approach that gives you more control over the effects of electrolytes on the surface

- simple intuitive operation - the control panel and corresponding functions are grouped and available in a very simple intuitive way

- cost reduction - during manual cleaning of welds, the initial investment in equipment and consumables is relatively small. In the case of electrolytic baths, the associated costs (construction, maintenance and operation) are much higher

We present the main advantages of cleaning welds with electrochemical machines:

Safety – Electrolytic liquids contain only phosphoric acid (also used in soft drinks) and can be used by hobbyists and professionals alike. Protective equipment (excluding gloves) is in most cases unnecessary.

Process speed – Electrochemical cleaning of welds is extremely fast. Good machines clean and passivate surfaces at the same time – without additional requirements and repetitions.

Optimal corrosion resistance – Our research suggests that the electrochemical process provides better corrosion resistance compared to other cleaning methods

Digestion and passivation is carried out using a carbon brush with variable length and width of bristles. Thanks to the use of a flexible brush, discoloration can be easily removed from flat surfaces, recesses, groin and hard-to-reach places (sharp angles, any grooves and gaps in the material, narrow gaps). The working length of the brush bristles is approx. 55 mm (properly used brush, on the appropriate work program is long-lived and its consumption is negligible).

Devices from the EC-102 series have the possibility of expansion with marking functions.

After using a special stamp and mesh matrix (single or multiple use) and selecting the appropriate function, you can use the device to apply your marking, logo, serial number, or any text to the finished products. Electrolytically marked can be made light or dark.
