Softboxes are an essential part of a photography studio. They are used to change the properties of light: the size of the glowing surface, the intensity and direction of light. They are gaining more and more popularity in video projects. An alternative to kinoflo lamps. Softbox eases tonal transitions between light and shadow.

The luminaire used is SOFTBOX integrated with the E27 socket, designed for both flash bulbs and permanent light bulbs. The canopy with dimensions 50x70cm is finished inside with silver material. The light is evenly distributed already inside the softbox and retains the same power over the entire surface of the diffuser. On the outside, the softbox is matte black, so it does not reflect the light of other lamps.

Unfolding and folding is extremely simple, and the folded softbox takes up little space. The high quality of materials from which the softbox is made guarantees trouble-free operation for years. Designed and manufactured in a way that ensures safe operation with fluorescent bulbs.

The bulb is characterized by a wide range of color temperatures from 3600K up to 6200K. The bulb provides excellent light efficiency.

With low active power consumption, it achieves a very high luminance, equivalent to up to 300 watt equivalents. The generated light is continuous, without flickering effect, allows you to film with more frames per second.

LED matrices are covered with a protective lampshade that disperses light – a diffuser with an area of 112cm2. Thanks to this, the emitted light, regardless of the intensity, has a pleasant and soft distribution, and at short distances it is perfect as a replacement for softbox or beauty-dish lamps. Bulb housing is not hermetically sealed, protection class IP20.

The included remote control allows you to quickly and intuitively control the bulb over long distances. The remote control communicates remotely with the bulb via an infrared channel mounted under the protective lampshade. Control is possible by directing the remote control forward to the bulb.

The light sources used in the set allow for smooth color temperature control. This gives a very wide possibility to adapt to the existing light, create the mood of the shot in accordance with the presented subject, creative experiments with the use of lights with different color temperatures.

The reasons why we use color temperature control are different. One of the most frequently given reasons is use of existing light - it can be daylight coming through the window, it can be artificial light from lamps on the ceiling of the room. If we use lamps with different color temperature, it will be visible in the obtained frame, and what is important - it will prevent us from obtaining natural (neutral) white, gray and skin tones. To counteract this, we regulate the temperature of the lamps to match the temperature of light in the room or sunlight (warm on sunny days, cool - on cloudy). Then the existing light improves the exposure and does not spoil our "white balance" - the balance of color temperatures of the lights in the frame.

Another reason why we want to change the color temperature is emphasis on the tone of the skin. Makeup people know that makeup can look different indoors, differently outdoors. By adjusting the color temperature of the light, we can check makeup in various situations. By taking a photo or recording a video, we can emphasize the effect we want - warming the tone of the skin or, on the contrary, its cooling, for people with light complexion and yellow tones in the hair.
