SEQURE SQ-SW3 SWP25 - spot welding machine for Li-Ion packages

SEQURE SQ-SW3 SWP25 is a capacitor spot welding machine for building and servicing battery packs from 18650 and 21700 cells. It will work well when welding nickel-plated tapes, pure nickel and thin copper sheet.

The SWP25 version reaches a maximum output current of 2500A and is equipped with split welding handles and a foot pedal, which facilitates serial operation with packages.

Capacitor energy storage and strong welding pulse

SQ-SW3 does not work like a classic soldering iron. The device stores energy in capacitors and then gives it away in a short pulse through welding electrodes. Thanks to this, you can make a permanent connection of the tape to the cell pole without long heating of the entire battery.

This is important for Li-Ion cells because too long exposure to temperature can worsen the safety and life of the cell. The spot welding machine is the right tool for building packages 18650 and 21700.
