Antenna power supply is a device that was created to transmit voltage through the antenna cable to the amplifier located in the antenna box. A special antenna plug with a separator directs the voltage towards the antenna, while blocking its flow towards the receiver (TV, DVB-T tuner).

The power supply is adapted to continuous operation.

How to connect the antenna cable to the power separator:

Prepare the cable according to the photo. Roll the braid over the outer jacket of the cable.

Slide the cable under the plate so that the middle vein is screwed with the middle screw, and the braid is under the plate. Make sure that none of the braid wires and aluminum foil braid will short-circuit the middle vein.

The cable must be tightened so that the braid touches the circuit board, probably stayed in the plug but was not crushed enough for the braid (screen) to touch the middle vein.

Do it calmly and carefully. :) Negligently screwing the cable to the plug is one of the most common failures causing signal loss.

Most power supplies are equipped with a control diode. The power supply does not work if the LED stops shining. The reason may be a short circuit on the antenna cable or damage to the power supply itself. A long-term short circuit can completely damage the power supply.
