No, the SPET14 is designed exclusively for vertical operation, extending the screen from bottom to top. Reversing the design threatens to damage the engine and fall the TV. For such projects, you should look for lifts dedicated to ceiling installation.

I'm building a motorhome and looking for a 32 inch TV lift. Will this lift work in mobile buildings?

No, we advise against such use due to the large own weight of the mechanism itself. Spacetronik SPET14 is a heavy construction created for stability in massive home furniture, not in vehicles. In the motorhome, a lighter system with less lifting capacity will work much better.

I want to hide the TV in the dresser. How will the top flap of the furniture open when the screen is extended?

The masking flap is permanently screwed to a flat beam, which is located at the very top of the elevator. When lifting the TV, the mechanism simply lifts this part of the tabletop with it. When the screen goes down, the flap closes the opening, facing the rest of the furniture.

The TV cabinet will stand in the middle of the living room, and the outlet is 2 meters away in the floor. Is the cable enough?

Yes, the cable in this model is over 4 meters long. It allows you to easily reach a remote outlet. There is no need for additional extension cords.

How tall does my cabinet have to be inside for the mechanism to fit in when it is completely lowered?

The interior space of the furniture must be at least 81 cm high, because this is how much the fully assembled column of the lift measures. This should include a possible supply for the TV itself, if its housing protrudes beyond the outline of the holder. It is always worth leaving a few centimeters of slack for free arrangement of cables.

Do I have to hold the button on the remote every time and aim for the TV to stop at a good height for viewing?

There is no need for this, because the included remote control has the function of writing two positions. You set the optimal height once and save it in the device memory. The next time you start, just one press of the button and the elevator will stop exactly at the designated point.
