The TPC-BF5421-T is a high-quality solution, fully used in video surveillance structures. The device belongs to the innovative Thermal (Pro) series by Dahua, designed to provide high demands on performance and reliability. The modern TPC-BF5421-T camera model provides a thermal solution for measuring body temperature, helping to prevent and control epidemics at airports, train stations, hospitals, schools and other places.

Intuitive navigation in the menu

• Management, programming of settings and operation of the TPC-BF5421-T IP thermal imaging camera is carried out using a clear and transparent program managing the device (WEB server), which is available from a web browser. Using the intuitive menu of the program, it is possible not only to test the cameras and the current preview of the recorded image, but it is also possible to set basic and advanced parameters of the device.

Main task of the camera

• The latest model of the TPC-BF5421-T thermal imaging camera enables extremely accurate measurement of human body temperature with an accuracy of ±0.3°C (using Black Body). The built-in AI algorithm for measuring the body temperature of many people at the same time, even those up to 3m away from the camera, allows for fast, precise and non-contact measurement.

Characteristics of thermal imaging transducer

• The thermal imaging camera module was built on the basis of a high-quality microbolometic sensor with VOx vanadium oxide (active absorbent material). It does not require cooling to a low temperature during continuous operation and has a thermal sensitivity of 40 mK @ f/1.1. High thermal sensitivity enables precise temperature measurement in the range of +30°C ~ +45°C, with a maximum error of +/- 1°C (with Black Body +/- 0.3°C). The camera operates at a wavelength of 8 ~ 14 μm. The lens generates a thermal image at a resolution of 400x300px. The focal length of this lens is 13mm.

Palette of 18 colors

• The advantage of a thermal imaging camera is also the ability to choose one of 18 color palettes for temperature measurement. Thanks to this, the displayed image can be adjusted to the preferences and requirements of the user. Properly selected color palette can greatly facilitate observation and measurement of the temperature of the object.

  The function allows you to eliminate the effect created when the camera is directed towards a strong light source, i.e. when the foreground becomes dark and unreadable. Compensation consists in brightening the foreground, unfortunately, also at the expense of the background, which also becomes brighter. Generally, the function improves image quality.

  Extended dynamic range - WDR

  The WDR function allows you to get a clear and detailed image, thanks to the skilful leveling of both too bright and darkened fragments of the recording. Thanks to the WDR system, it is possible to maintain the readability of all monitoring in places with different lighting levels of the observed scene.

  Powerful lighting compensation - HLC

  The algorithm detects image points that are strongly illuminated and then masks them for effective observation. HLC mode is extremely useful for observing underground parking lots. It allows you to read license plate numbers that are obscured by "bright spots" from the headlights.

  IR

  The camera is equipped with an infrared illuminator with a working range of up to 35 meters. The LED system generates an infrared light beam illuminating the monitoring area.

  Two lenses

  The camera also has two lenses. The first lens is used for thermal imaging, it generates an image in 400x300px resolution. The focal length of this lens is 13mm. The second 8mm lens serves this vision and generates an image in 2Mpx resolution.

  Slot memory card

  The camera is also equipped with a microSD card slot, with a maximum capacity of 256 GB. The card is used as a backup storage space that can be used to create local copies of recordings.

  Cooperation with SSWiN

  The camera has two inputs and two alarm outputs. These connectors allow you to integrate the camera, for example, with devices of alarm systems or automation.

Siren and LED headlight

• The camera also features a built-in siren and LED headlight. When the camera detects a temperature level exceeding a certain value, an audible and light alarm is immediately triggered. Thanks to this, the appropriate law enforcement authorities can react extremely accurately by quickly isolating a person.

H.265 compression

• The latest H.265 compression delivers 40-50% savings in bandwidth and memory. The H265 encoding uses advanced technology to improve the ratio between stream size and image quality. The H.265 compression format is supported only natively within a single manufacturer.

Support for ePoE technology

• The innovative ePoE technology adopts 2D-PAM3 encoding modulation from the physical layer and realizes full duplex transmission above 800 meters at 10Mbps or 300 meters at 100Mbps via twisted pair computer or coaxial cable. ePoE technology only works with ePoE devices.
