The logarithmic antenna is a modern broadband, dual-polarization antenna dedicated to receiving DVB-T2 digital terrestrial television in the VHF (174...230 MHz) and UHF (470...790 MHz) bands. Characteristic features of the antenna include ease of installation (antenna folded in its entirety), flatness of gain characteristics throughout the VHF and UHF bands and impedance adjustment 75 Ω, thanks to which the antenna does not require the use of a symmetrizer. The antenna cable is connected via a type F connector (included).

The antenna was designed by specialists from the AGH University of Science and Technology. S. Staszica in Krakow from the Department of Electronics. The number of radiating elements and their shape have been optimized using specialized software to ensure the required operating parameters. The implementation of the antenna with two operating bands allowed to reduce the dimensions of the antenna compared to the classic broadband antenna solution.

The antenna is a typical urban antenna for receiving DVB-T2 signal in the full range of VHF + UHF frequencies in horizontal, vertical or mixed polarization. It can be mounted on the antenna mast on the roof or on the wall mount or to the balcony railing.

Radiant elements with a diameter of 3.92 mm are made of hardened aluminum alloy. The longest element, while maintaining elasticity, withstands a constant load, located at the end corresponding to a mass of less than 0,8 kg. For comparison, the weight of the pigeon does not exceed 0,4 kg.
