Aeration pump suitable for use in aquariums, ponds and ponds. Equipped with an electric motor with a simple and reliable piston design, it is made of materials with increased wear resistance.
What is the difference between the ACO Heavy Series and the usual ACO from other manufacturers?
The Heavy Series has the same proven and simple engine design. However, slightly different materials were used to produce individual and at the same time key components.
The piston is made of thermoplastic materials, constantly adjusting its volume to the shape of the engine where, at high temperatures, distortions of only 0,1mm can occur. Despite these small changes in the volume of the metal, with the influence of temperature, the piston tightly fills the cylinder, maintaining the highest efficiency of work.
Cylinder and moving parts are made of high-strength Zl102 aluminum alloy. The use of this more expensive, compared to materials from ordinary ACO, noticeably affected the volume of work, efficiency and, above all, the durability of the device.
Engine lubrication:
In the Heavy Series ACO, the lubrication of the engine with oils, lubricants, etc. was abandoned. The use of artificial lubrication is not effective at a greater interval of time, as it can easily be used. Instead, the cylinder walls, as well as the piston, are highly polished. The finish is real, not artificially reduces friction, while affecting the operating temperature and current consumption.
What hoses does the pump support?
The pump in the set has a connection hose for the splitter. This element supports standard hoses with sizes 4/6mm. U.S.Aqua Airline hoses are recommended for the Heavy Series aerator.
