Energy-saving for pond pump

The NCM 3500 pump is made of high-quality materials. Its design allows for continuous operation under the water surface. The ceramic axle ensures quiet operation while extending the life of the pump. The equipment does not contain any rust-prone parts or copper components. The pump is equipped with an ECO-PUMP motor - it allows you to save up to 50% energy compared to other products with similar performance. This significantly reduces the cost of ongoing operation, thanks to which the total purchase price of the device pays off after just a few years.

The Aqua Nova NCM 3500 pump cannot run dry, so the manufacturer has made sure that the equipment will not be damaged in unexpected situations. A special IC motor protection is installed here, which electronically detects the lack of water supply and in this situation blocks the power supply to prevent the pump from overheating and being damaged.

Quiet operation and high efficiency

Aqua Nova NCM-3500 is characterized by quiet operation combined with high efficiency. The 25 W motor provides a water flow of up to 3,500 liters per hour . Depending on the application, you can use this device to power tall fountains, waterfalls and other garden accessories, as well as filtration systems. The device is very easy to install, operate and maintain. Additionally, it has a long power cable (10 m) , thanks to which you do not have to buy expensive extensions. The set also includes threaded inserts, seals and hose connectors with diameters of 20, 25 and 32 mm.

The NCM-3500 can also be used as a fountain pump, simply purchase the separately sold FNS tee connector with nozzles and the FNS-PIPE extension pipe.

Water column lifting height and efficiency

The pump performance and water lifting height have mutual influence. This translates into a change in the values declared by the manufacturer for each of the parameters. In practice - if the water is to be raised to e.g. 1 m, this will decrease the pump capacity accordingly (the dependence shown in the chart).

The circumstances affecting both parameters shall be specified:

• Pump load
• Dirty prefilter or pump
• Connection to the pump of other devices such as filter, fountain, skimmer, cascade
• Unrealistic User Expectations

The lifting height is always calculated from the water level. In addition, it is affected by the diameter of the hose and nozzle and the lack of additional pump loads. If the purpose is the efficiency of water flow to the filter, the pump should be relieved by redirecting the full capacity to the filter.

The efficiency and height of water lifting are the parameters determining the choice and purchase of a pump. Remember about the described changes in parameters that may occur during the use of the pump
