What is daylight?

Daylight (or white light) is made up of a series of colors that are collectively called spectrum.

Spectrum: a multicolored streak of light that has passed through the prism and is fragmented. This is known when white light passes through glass prisms; White light travels in seven visible colors with shades of red at one end to blue and purple at the other.
