Minion Chamber is a medical device designed to better deliver a measured dose of the drug to the lungs. The inhaler works most effectively when the patient is able to deliver the medicine to himself in a free, controlled manner. Adding a chamber to an MDI (Dispensing Pressure Inhaler) inhaler helps achieve this goal.

The chamber is particularly useful for children who would otherwise have trouble using the inhaler.

Inhalation leaves some of the active substance in the throat, esophagus and stomach.

The mask allows you to inhale through your nose which delivers more substances straight to your lungs

• The chamber ensures more efficient use of the inhaler, which facilitates the whole process. Without a chamber, the patient must coordinate the inhalation with the push of an inhaler button.
• The chamber extends the time of taking the active substance. The lungs absorb the drug more slowly and gently.
• Most of the aerosol goes into the lungs and respiratory tract.

The chamber may be prescribed by your doctor if you are concerned that too little medicine is being delivered efficiently.

1. Check that there is enough medicine in the inhaler, make sure the chamber is clean
2. Stand or sit with your back straight, head in normal position
3. Let as much air out of your lungs as possible
4. Spray once with the inhaler and slowly inhale for approx. 3-5 seconds, applying the mask in such a way that the aerosol cannot escape
5. Hold your breath for 10 seconds by counting down in your head or using a stopwatch on your watch or phone
6. Move the mask away from your mouth and exhale
7. Repeat as directed by your doctor
