The frame should have spacing between the slats of 3 to 4 cm and consist of a minimum of 18 slats, which guarantees proper use of the mattress. Properly selected frame ensures proper air circulation, affects the comfort of sleep and extends the life of the mattress. It is unacceptable to use the mattress directly on the floor or on a uniform, full board, as this can lead to deterioration of its properties and permanent deformation. In the case of foam mattresses, it is also allowed to use adjustable frames – manually or mechanically, as long as they comply with the manufacturer’s recommendations.
