Specialists recommend choosing a mattress with a medium or slightly higher level of hardness – most often marked as H2 to H4. Such a surface provides adequate stability, which promotes maintaining proper posture and minimizes the risk of spinal defects in the future.

In the case of infants, special care should be taken to ensure that the mattress is not too soft. Models with a hardness of H1, although they may seem comfortable, do not guarantee proper support for the delicate body of the newborn. ⚠ It is also worth considering the type of foam used. Although visco thermoelastic foams are often chosen in adult products, they are not recommended for the youngest.
