Children's gloves ≠ gloves for adults

This is a very important difference, which is often not talked about. In adult gloves, weight (oz) means mainly weight of the glove, and the differences in size are small.

In children's gloves: weight (oz) means both weight and real glove size, the differences between 2 oz, 4 oz, 6 oz and 8 oz are very clear, the selection must take into account age, hand structure and finger length.

How to choose a size?

Below are general age guidelines:

2 oz – about 3 to 4 years old

4 oz – about 4 to 5 years old

6 oz – about 6 to 8 years old

8 oz – about 8 to 11/12 years old

These are indicative values. Every child’s hand is different.

Most important: fingers must pass through the curvature of the glove and the child must be able to naturally clench his fist. If the fingers “escape” inside – the glove is too big.
