HOW TO USE THE DETECTOR CORRECTLY?

1. Lie comfortably on your back in a quiet room.
2. Apply a generous amount of gel to the ultrasound on the abdomen or directly on the probe (gel is necessary to conduct waves – without it you will hear only noise).
3. Apply the probe to the lower abdomen (early pregnancy requires looking just above the pubic bone) and very slowly move it at different angles.
4. The normal fetal heart rate is much faster than that of an adult and is usually between 110 and 160 BPM.
