DS18B20 in waterproof housing on a cable with a length of 5 meters - is a digital temperature sensor operating with a voltage of 3.3V and 5V. The sensors we sell are original manufactured by MAXIM Integrated (which was purchased by Dallas Semiconductors), have a built-in ADC that allows you to give a reading with an accuracy of 12-bit, which corresponds to a resolution of 0.0625°C and the measurement itself is accurate to 0.5°C.

Possibility to connect several sensors on 1 cable:

The sensors have a 1-wire interface that allows communication using only 1 data cable and a combination of multiple sensors on the same cable, each DS18B20 has its own unique serial number so that they can be distinguished from each other - thanks to this we reduce the number of wires and save microcontroller ports. Connection method shown in the product gallery.

DS18B20 For correct temperature reading a pull-up resistor 4.7kΩ should be used between the VCC leg (red) and DATA (yellow) - the resistor is not included.

The sensor sold can operate in parasitic mode - that is, it is possible to connect it with 2 wires, the method of connection is presented in the gallery.
