1. Regarding New Unit Odor:​ The inner tank is made of food-grade plastic. When first unboxed, it may have a slight odor due to being sealed in packaging. This is a normal occurrence for plastic materials and is harmless to human health. The odor will dissipate quickly with ventilation and use.
2. Recommended Handling Methods:​ For immediate fresh-tasting water, we recommend one of these simple initial steps:

   Air Ventilation Method:​ Remove the water inlet seat (the part that connects to the water bottle) and leave it in a ventilated area for a period of time.

   Cleaning Method:​ Mix a small amount of food-grade vinegar or a dedicated cleaner with water, pour it into the water tank, and let it sit for about 30 minutes. Then, completely drain the liquid from the drainage valve at the bottom of the unit. Finally, rinse thoroughly with clean water 2-3 times.

3. Friendly Reminder:​ After the above simple treatment, any new-unit odor will be completely eliminated. This is a temporary condition only. With normal use, the odor will disappear entirely and will not affect water safety or your drinking water's health quality.
