1. Remove the filter from the film, flip and place under running water for approx. 60 seconds

2. Then gently shake the filter to vent the filter properly.

3. Remove the water tank, install a filter in it and fill the tank with water.

4. After installing the filter in the water tank in the machine, force the flow of hot water or hot steam (if the machine has a hot steam nozzle).
