Sillar water filter for filter jugs

The Sillar filter has an effectively selected filter mixture, which consists of:

▶ activated carbon impregnated with silver

▶ ion exchange resin

Thanks to this, the Filter significantly reduces water hardness, heavy metal content, chlorine compounds and other substances that can adversely affect the taste, smell and color of water.

One filter capacity: 30 days or approx. 150-200 l of water (depending on its quality). Matching filter jug for cartridges such as Unimax / Maxtra+ / Hard Water / B100-5 Maxfor.

What is a filter made of?

1. Filter mesh - stops larger contaminants such as rust, sand, sediment.
2. Ion-exchange resin - removes excess magnesium and calcium ions, which reduces water hardness. Active carbon impregnated with silver - in the process of absorption and catalytic reduction removes pesticides, herbicides, chlorine, detergents. It noticeably improves the smell and taste of water.
3. Filter grate - traps impurities inside the filter.

Preparation of the filter:

1 Remove the used cartridge and wash the inside of the jug.

2 Dip the cartridge in cold water for 10 minutes, then wash it under running water.

3 Mount the cartridge in the jug.

4 Fill the jug with water and delay it after the filtration process. Do this only once.

5 Ready! Filter capacity up to 1 month or 150l.

Greater compatibility

Each Sillar filter comes with a special mounting pin that allows the filter to be used also in selected Brita jugs. Thanks to this, the filter gains wider compatibility and can also be used by owners of jugs of this brand.

How to mount a pin?

1. Remove the filter insert from the jug.
2. Turn it upside down.
3. Place the pin in the 3 holes located on the bottom of the insert.
4. Put the insert back in the jug.
5. Then follow the instructions for use of the jug and filter.
