❇ TDS meter and water conductivity meter in one
WODARO ME-TDS-WD-1 combines the functions most often sought after when controlling filtration and water quality. It is not only a TDS tester, but also a conductometer for water, because it measures both the TDS level and EC conductivity.
The device measures:
1 TDS - total amount of substances dissolved in water
Range: 0-9999 ppm
2 EC - electrical conductivity of liquids
Range: 0-9999 µS/cm
3 Water temperature
Range: 0,1-80°C / 32-176°F
Thanks to this, one water quality meter allows you to quickly compare water before and after filtration, check the effectiveness of the RO membrane and control changes in water parameters.
❇ What is a water quality tester useful for?
This PPM tester works wherever quick reading and easy control of water quality count.
The most common uses:
➡ control of water after reverse osmosis
➡ checking the effectiveness of osmotic membrane
➡ comparison of water before and after the filter
➡ testing drinking water at home
➡ freshwater and marine aquaristics
➡ hydroponics
➡ swimming pools and spas
➡ gastronomy
➡ food and chemical industry
➡ laboratories and pharmacy
➡ wells, rainwater, reservoirs and field springs
➡ travel and camping
If you need a simple water quality meter for daily filtration checking, this model will be a very accurate choice.
❇ Why is it worth having a water quality meter at home?
In practice, such a water quality tester allows you to quickly check whether the filter works as it should.
With RO systems, it is particularly useful because it allows easy comparison of raw and filtered water.
It is a good choice for people who:
➡ use reverse osmosis filters
➡ want to control the condition of the RO membrane
➡ are looking for a simple device for regular measurements
➡ want to have a quick result without complicated handling
➡ need a light and handy meter
⭐ Simple operation - result in less than 5 seconds
Operation of the device is very simple:
1 remove the protective cap
2 turn on the device with the ON/OFF button
3 immerse the electrode in the test liquid - without crossing the immersion line
4 wait for the result to stabilize
5 read the result or use the HOLD function
6 wipe the electrode after measurement and attach the cap
This is why the meter works well for both beginners and people who regularly check the water after filtration.
4 display modes
The SHIFT button allows you to switch the device between 4 operating modes:
1 TDS - ppm & °C
2 EC - µS/cm & °C
3 TDS - ppm & °F
4 EC - µS/cm & °F
Thanks to this, you can conveniently adjust the reading method to the current application.
⭐ Key features
➡ TDS measurement in ppm
➡ measurement of EC in µS/cm
➡ temperature measurement at °C and °F
➡ ATC - automatic temperature compensation
➡ HOLD - stop the result
➡ display mode memory
➡ automatic shutdown after 8 minutes
➡ possibility of manual calibration
➡ easy to read LCD screen
➡ simple and intuitive operation

Important information - TDS meter and water softener
This is very important: the TDS meter is not used to assess the effectiveness of the water softener at the output of the device.
Why?
Because the meter counts the ions present in the water, but does not distinguish their type. As a result, after the softener, the reading may be higher than before it, even though the softener is working properly.
To control the hardness of the water behind the softener should be used:
➡ droplet testers
➡ strip testers
What does TDS and EC measurement mean?
TDS shows the amount of substances dissolved in water.
EC shows the electrical conductivity of the liquid.
The more dissolved salts and minerals in the sample, the higher the reading will be. Therefore, such a TDS tester works best for:
➡ comparing water samples
➡ filtration monitoring
➡ evaluation of parameter changes before and after the RO membrane
➡ quick control of water quality in everyday use
Important rules of use
➡ do not immerse the device above the immersion line
➡ do not use for measuring very high temperature water
➡ do not measure during water flow
➡ after measurement wipe the electrode and put on the protective cap
❓ FAQ - most common questions before buying ❓
1 What is the TDS meter used for?
It is used to quickly check TDS levels, EC conductivity and water temperature. It is most often used to control filters and RO systems.
2 Is this a good reverse osmosis tester?
Yes. It is a very practical water quality tester for comparing water before and after filtration and evaluating the operation of the osmotic membrane.
3 Does the meter show water hardness?
Not directly. This is a TDS / EC meter, so droplet or strip tests should be used to thoroughly test the hardness - especially behind the softener.
4 Is the device ready to use out of the box?
Yes. The meter is factory calibrated and has a battery included.
5 Does the result appear quickly?
Yes. The reading usually stabilizes in less than 5 seconds.
6 Can it measure water temperature?
Yes. The device measures temperature both at °C and at °F.
