Valve failure, leaky gasket in the dishwasher or slowly leaking water from under the washing machine often go unnoticed for hours. Shelly Flood S Gen4 allows you to detect a problem before it leads to dampness of walls, floors or damage to equipment. The sensor uses three large detection fields made of stainless steel, thanks to which it reacts quickly to both ordinary water and low conductivity liquids, such as condensate from air conditioning or distilled water. Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and Zigbee connectivity, Matter support and up to approximately 2 years of battery life make the device an integral part of the modern smart home system.

The discreet guardian of your home

Most of the places where leaks occur remain out of sight. Shelly Flood S Gen4 has a compact design measuring 23 × 77 mm – it can be discreetly slipped under a washing machine, dishwasher or refrigerator. When even a small leak occurs, the device will immediately detect the threat and send a notification, allowing you to react quickly no matter where you are currently. IP67 rating further increases resistance to harsher conditions and accidental splashes.

A smart home that responds to threats

Shelly Flood S Gen4 can not only immediately send a warning to your smartphone, but also run pre-configured automations. Combined with a compatible smart valve, the system can automatically cut off the water supply, reducing the risk of costly damage. Importantly, automation works on premises, so protection remains active even without access to the cloud.

Two operating modes and an alarm tailored to the situation

The Shelly Flood S Gen4 sensor will work not only inside the building. There are two modes of operation to choose from – flood detection and precipitation detection. In the second case, the device can become part of an intelligent home management system and respond to changing weather conditions. When it starts to rain, the system can stop watering the garden, extend the awnings or close the roof windows. In addition, three alarm profiles are available – Intense, Normal and Economic – and the built-in buzzer immediately informs about the detected threat.

Unlimited connectivity and wide compatibility

Matter support enables integration with various platforms, and compatibility with Shelly Smart Control and popular home automation systems allows you to create complex operating scenarios. The device works with Amazon Alexa, Google Smart Home, Samsung SmartThings, and Home Assistant, among others. Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5 LE and Zigbee 3.0 connectivity gives you great freedom of configuration and allows you to adjust the way of communication to individual needs.
