1. Do not immerse the probe in any liquid other than pool or spa water.

2. Turn the switch to the closed position when not in use.

3. Store the tester in a cool and dry place.

Before you use this tester for the first time, you need to adapt it to your pool or spa water in the following order:

1. Test your pool or spa water with a conventional fluid testing kit

2. Make a note of the chlorine reading level as needed.

3. No pH adjustment is required.

How to find a control point for chlorine testing:

1. Insert 1 pc. AA 1,5 V battery for chamber in holder.

2. Hold the tester in one hand and the probe in the other.

3. Insert the cleaned metal probes into the water into the black strip.

4. Gently mix the water with a probe.

5. Holding the probe still in the water, turn the wheel on the surface of the tester to the end left towards the "CL". Slowly turn the wheel back to the right until the needle adjusts to the chlorine level recorded with a conventional liquid tester (e.g.: 1,5 ppm)

6. Remove the probes from the water without touching the wheel. The pointer will move to the right as much as possible and stop at the letter between A and E. This letter is your "adjustment point".

Note: Every time you use this tester to test chlorine levels, you need to adjust it to the "adjustment point" before testing.

🔶Testing chlorine levels:

Recommended chlorine level for swimming pools and spas: 1,2~1,7 ppm

1. Set the needle to your "adjustment point".

2. Holding the tester in one hand and the probes in the other, insert the probes into the water all the way to the black strip. Wait for the needle to rest for a better chlorine reading.

3. Leave the probes in the water.

🔶Test the pH level:

Recommended pH level for swimming pools and spas: 7,2~7,8

1. While the probes are still in the water, turn the knob all the way to “pH” until you hear a click (the battery must be turned off for pH reading).

2. Wait for the needle to stop at the pH reading.

3. Gently dry the probes and insert them into the handle on the side of the tester for storage.
