Water heater Alnor HDW-200 channel

The Alnor HDW-200 water heater is a channel heat exchanger designed to heat the air flowing through the ventilation system. The device has been equipped with round connection connectors with a diameter of 200 mm, thanks to which it can be installed directly in systems using popular SPIRO cables and other round ventilation ducts of the corresponding dimension.

The heat energy carrier is hot water supplied from the heating system. Alnor HDW-200 does not use electric heating elements, so it can work with, among others, a gas boiler, a solid fuel boiler, a central heating system or a properly selected low-temperature source. The actual performance of the heater depends on the supply and return water temperature, the air temperature at the entrance and the volume of air flow.

Efficient ventilation air heating

The maximum heating power of the Alnor HDW-200 is 11,11 kW for the conditions specified in the selection table. Such parameters allow the device to be used in installations requiring effective heating of a larger air stream. The heater can raise the air supply temperature before bringing it into the rooms, improving thermal comfort during the heating season.

Depending on the installation parameters, the device can operate at different temperature levels, including 90/70°C, 80/60°C or 60/40°C. The final heat output will change with water temperature, factor flow and fan efficiency. This allows you to choose a heater for different types of heating and ventilation systems.

Copper coil and aluminium lamellas

The coil and connection pipes of the Alnor HDW-200 are made of copper, which conducts heat well and is commonly used in water heating exchangers. The exchanger lamels are made of aluminum. They increase the contact surface with the flowing air, supporting the efficient transfer of heat energy from hot water to the supply stream.

The heater housing is made of galvanized steel sheet. The construction ensures proper rigidity and durability during operation in the ventilation system. The lockable lid allows access to the interior of the device, making it easy to control the condition of the exchanger and carry out periodic cleaning.

Tight connection to ventilation ducts

Alnor HDW-200 has two round ventilation nozzles equipped with EPDM rubber seals. The solution facilitates a tight connection with channels and fittings with a diameter of 200 mm. Reducing uncontrolled air leaks helps maintain the assumed system performance and reduce losses occurring on connections.

The supply and discharge pipes of the heating medium have a diameter of 12 mm. The water system shall be connected in such a way as to ensure proper flow through the exchanger, the possibility of venting the system and the access needed for inspection and maintenance. The selection of pumps, valves, actuators and protections should take into account the parameters of the entire heating system.

Possibility to adjust the air supply temperature

The Alnor HDW-200 water heater can work with a two- or three-way control valve, actuator and thermostat. This system allows you to control the flow of hot water through the exchanger and adjust the heating power to the current demand. The regulation reduces the risk of excessive air heating and allows you to maintain a more stable temperature in the supported rooms.

The maximum permissible operating temperature is 100°C, while the maximum operating pressure is 1,0 MPa, or 10 bar. When designing the system, the parameters of the heat source, hydraulic system and all regulatory and protective elements used should be taken into account.

The Alnor HDW-200 water heater will work well in mechanical ventilation systems where additional heating of the supplied air is required. It can be used in residential buildings, offices, shops, service premises, workshops, warehouses, garages, technical rooms and selected industrial facilities.

Mechanical ventilation with heat recovery

The device can act as a water secondary heater installed in the supply duct behind the ventilation unit. In this system, it allows you to further increase the air temperature after passing through the recuperator exchanger. The solution is useful when the heat recovery itself does not provide the expected airflow temperature during colder days.

Supply systems in utility facilities

Alnor HDW-200 can cooperate with a fan or supply unit in systems supporting service, commercial, warehouse and workshop rooms. The use of hot water as an energy carrier allows you to combine ventilation with the existing central heating system and reduce the need for high-power electric heaters.

New and modernized ventilation systems

The connection with a diameter of 200 mm allows the heater to be used both in newly designed installations and during the expansion of the existing system. Before choosing a device, it is necessary to determine the required air flow, inlet temperature, heating water parameters and the expected temperature increase. Correct selection allows you to use the available power of the exchanger and reduce unnecessary flow resistance.
