Universal heater for VOLCANO and WING air curtains
The device is used to manually and automatically control the rotational speed of fans in heating devices, such as heaters and air curtains, equipped with a suitable controller, adapted to this type of control signal.
It is powered by 230V AC, so the housing must be closed and protected.
Operating mode
To select the operating mode of the device, set the switch (which is located at the top of the device housing) in one of the three available positions:
- A - support for analog output.
- 0 - disable the output.
- A+T - support for analog output as a thermostat function.

The VOLCANO heater has a mounting console included, allowing you to mount the device both vertically mounting on the wall (Fig.1) and ceiling-mounted, i.e. mounting on the ceiling (Fig.2). The installation height of (h1) heaters should be in the range of 2-5 m from the floor for VR Mini or 2,5-8 m for other models. The maximum vertical range of the devices varies from 8-15 m (h2) depending on the type of heater. The maximum horizontal range is from 14-25 m (a). Failure to maintain a minimum distance of 25 cm (VR Mini) and 35 cm (VR1/ VR2/VR3/VR-D) from the wall or ceiling may cause improper operation of the device, the possibility of damage to the fan or increased volume of its operation. It is possible to group assembly of devices (Fig.3). However, it should be remembered about the recommended distance between (b) heaters, which, depending on the model, can be from 3-7 m (VR Mini) to 6-12 m (VR1/ VR2/VR3/VR-D).
