The RCW-21 sensor allows you to measure wind speed (range 0 – 99 km/h) and illuminance (range 0 – 99 000 lx). It is dedicated to direct cooperation with SFP-22 controllers. Protects blinds from damage due to too strong wind. Exceeding a certain wind speed threshold causes the blinds to automatically roll up and block the control function for a specified period of time. You can associate the sending of a ‘push’ notification to your mobile device with the operation of this function. In addition to cooperation with SFP-22, the measured wind speed and illuminance values can be used in logical functions in cooperation with RCW-21 with the EFC-01 controller. The device is suitable for outdoor installation (IP44 enclosure protection).

Assembly

Essential tools and materials : drill, screwdriver / screwdriver, rubber hammer, recommended SEP 1kV qualifications.

1. The sensor is designed for surface mounting with two mounting screws.

   It is usually screwed directly to the wall of the building. Hermetic housing with a degree of

   IP44 protection allows outdoor installation. When choosing the place of installation, it is necessary to provide optimal conditions for measuring wind speed and lighting intensity. The sensor mechanically

   is adapted to change the position in the down-up system.

2. In order to screw the sensor to the wall and connect the power cables, it is necessary to:

   1. Remove the side casings from the base.

   2. Measure and drill holes for mounting screws.

   3. Run the power cords through the holes in the housing and connect to the RCW-21 with polarity.

   4. Screw the sensor to the wall and put on the side covers.

   5. Adjust the position of the sensor.
