✅ Important Tips for Camera Parameters and Operation

👉 Resolution - The image display parameter determining the pixel density on a given screen is expressed as the number of lines vertically (1920px) and horizontally (2160px). The higher the resolution, the resulting image on the receiver (e.g. monitor, TV) will be clearer. In receivers with small displays, such as smartphones, the difference in the image without its magnification may be imperceptible. In order to verify the resolution, you need to download a photo or recording from the memory card and check its properties.

👉 Frames per second (FPS) - is the number of images taken by the camera per second (15 fps = 15 photos per second). The more photos, the smoother the video recording.

👉 Online preview from the ICSee application in SD or UHD mode:

• SD mode - in order to save data transfer, the application gives you the opportunity to conduct an online preview in the mode of reduced image resolution. Thanks to this, with poor quality of network or Internet connection, we get better image smoothness and device control.
• UHD mode - full image resolution, displayed on the phone screen, with poorer data transfer quality online preview may be difficult.

No matter how you set the online display mode, the camera captures events at maximum image resolution (2304x2592).

When you enable online preview, the application itself adjusts the quality of the displayed image (SD or UHD) by examining the speed of the network connection, but the user has the ability to change the mode manually.

👉 Downloading recordings from microSD card - recordings are downloaded using the ICSee application to the phone memory or through the CMS program directly to the PC without removing the card from the camera. By inserting a microSD card into the PC reader, it is not possible to read and download recordings due to the different operating system of the camera.

👉 Wi-Fi network connection - camera supports 2.4GHz frequency. During the first configuration, the phone must be connected to a Wi-Fi network of the indicated frequency (2.4GHz), thanks to which the application will detect the device itself within the range of our network. The power of the Wi-Fi signal at the place of installation of the camera must be stable, in case of poor signal level, the connection to the camera may be difficult, then we recommend the use of Wi-Fi amplifiers. Remember, however, that when configuring with the amplifier, the phone must be connected to the amplifier network, not the router. Please note that this router is responsible for the range of the Wi-Fi signal, not the receiver (e.g. camera).

👉 Motion tracking (function disabled by default) - The device has the ability to automatically direct the head in place of motion detection in the recorded image. As the name suggests, this is motion tracking so the camera head can point to the position of detected motion in the image e.g. A walking animal. The device does not have a built-in motion sensor, the whole process is based on collecting information from the camera image. Running the motion tracking feature excludes humanoid character detection.

👉 Detection of humanoid form (function enabled by default) - The device, based on the collected information from the image, tries to enforce the human form without sending notifications about e.g. passing vehicles. Keep in mind, however, that this is artificial intelligence, which in some cases can be wrong. Running the humanoid character detection feature excludes motion tracking.

👉 PUSH - notifications after detecting an alarm, the camera and the application allow you to send a notification regarding the detection of motion or humanoid form (depending on the settings), thus taking a photo of the observed event, in order to save the transfer, the photo is sent in a reduced resolution. To enforce a recorded event, check the recordings placed e.g. on a microSD card. For the function to work properly, the phone must have constant access to the Internet, the ICSee application must have access to the required permissions, you must also exclude the application from power saving mode. In some cases, the app should also be locked in the background so that the phone going into sleep mode does not deactivate notifications.
