L-ascorbic acid is great for discoloring water in swimming pools. Due to its iron assimilation properties, vitamin C reduces iron ions, which are responsible for the ugly color of water. Effectively removes rusty/ironish water coloration. Importantly, a relatively small amount of this compound is enough to get great results. Not without significance is also the fact that such effects can be achieved in a natural way, without the addition of chemicals.
Vitamin C neutralizes chlorine
One gram of vitamin C can neutralize about 4 liters of water with one part chlorine per million parts water (PPM).
The product is NOT a universal pool cleaner
Method of use
Vitamin C is added in the proportion of 50-70 g per 1 m3 of water. We mix the vitamin with water, and then pour the whole into the pool. The whole, depending on the pool, takes several minutes and we have azure water.
When we have any contaminants left on the bottom or surface, we can easily remove them with a fish landing net or other strainer or net.
Important:
To maintain the effect of clean and clear water, it is necessary to regularly check the Ph of water and the degree of chlorination.
Vitamin C (L-ascorbic acid) lowers the level of Ph - you should check its level and raise or lower it.
Maintaining clear pool water requires monitoring Ph and chlorine water at least every 3 days or if it is used constantly even every evening.
Storage conditions: Keep the product closed, in a dry and cool place. The product should be stored out of reach of young children. Vitamin C is sensitive to light and high temperature, which should be remembered when taking it.
