Converter decodes the analog signal Component video YPbPr and audio L/P to digital HDMI. This allows you to connect older analog devices to modern displays equipped with a HDMI socket. The analog signal is converted to digital Full HD 1080p and DTS Digital and Dolby Digital audio. A new TV and an older home theater can reconnect with each other and enjoy your favorite productions watched on the HD screen.

We connect to the device using the component YPbPr e.g. decoder or console, and the HDMI connector goes to the TV / monitor with this connector. Red and white cables marked L/R are used to transmit sound.
The converter works one way! So if you want to display an image e.g. from a computer that has an HDMI output to a TV with a YPbPr connector, you need a reverse converter.
The device requires power! Cable included.
