ZXE subwoofers from HiFonics are the beginning of the adventure with the ZEUS series. Carefully designed and manufactured two models with diameters of 25 and 30 cm allow you to deliver a solid dose of bass in low-budget installations without the need for low-quality drivers.

Components used in the production of ZXE series subwoofers show that HiFonics does not save when designing even a budget series of its subwoofers. 64 mm coils, efficient Y34 magnetic systems with a diameter of 140 mm, enlarged diaphragms allowing the diaphragm to tilt +/- 16 mm Max, or finally hand-made coated paper membranes sewn to the spring with a double stitch, of course blue thread. Details were also taken care of - the magnet is protected by a blue cover, spring-loaded clamps were used to connect the wires.

The T/S parameters have been designed so that using ZSE subwoofers it is possible to build excellent ventilated boxes, but also medium-sized closed enclosures. It is even possible to use a subwoofer in a free-air application.
