The Zigbee/Thread coordinator enables the integration of devices with open smart home platforms such as Home Assistant (Zigbee2MQTT, ZHA, Thread) and OpenHAB. It acts as a central element of the Zigbee or Thread network, allowing for convenient device management.

The device comes with pre-installed CC2652 firmware, allowing it to function as a Zigbee coordinator right out of the box.

You can safely update the firmware to:

• a Zigbee signal booster (router)
• a Thread coordinator (OpenThread)
