Introducing the Shimano Ultegra XTE, the most technologically advanced Big Pit reel in its price class. Based on the success of the XTD model, a proven design was used and packed with the best technologies. All this to allow the angler to enter a whole new level of fishing. Ultegra XTE is a carp reel offered in the most popular size 14000, allowing for long hauls and lifting the most exhausting holes. It was designed based on consultations with the best carp anglers from all over Europe to fit into modern trends and meet the expectations of the most demanding users. Its design was based on the proprietary Shimano Hagane technology, using extremely strong, cold-forged drive elements. At the heart of the mechanism is the Hagane transmission, offering much greater overload strength than standard die-cast transmissions. It is characterized by slower wear of the chainring, which in turn translates into the longevity of the reel. To improve the quality of drive operation, X-Ship technology was used, using additional bearings for bilateral stabilization of drive components. They make the reel run smoothly under load, so that the tow does not require putting excessive force into the drive mechanism. Together, the Hagane transmission and X-Ship drive generate enormous reeling power, allowing you to squeeze maximum performance out of the reel. However, this is not all, for the best possible work experience, Ultegra XTE is equipped with SilentDrive technology, guaranteeing extremely quiet and smooth rotation. Refined to perfection and perfectly fitted drive components ensure that the emission of transmission sounds has been reduced to a minimum. Because the Ultegra XTE reel is a model dedicated to both deportation and casting fishing, it was ensured that it was characterized by low weight. It uses a completely new housing, made of lightweight and rigid Ci4+ carbon. Thanks to it, the reel is extremely easy to use, does not tire your hands during the lobby and allows you to cast long casts without putting unnecessary effort into it. And speaking of throws, the new Ultegra XTE uses Rigid Cast technology, which strengthens the main axis of the reel to minimize vibrations on the spool during casting. This is an original project of Shimano, which at the moment was available only in the highest Aero Technium MgS model. In combination with the free oscillation Super Slow 5, guaranteeing a winding of up to 55 turns per cycle and the perfect positioning of the line on the spool, this allows you to exceed the existing barriers both in terms of distance and accuracy of the throw. The set, with the Ultegra XTE reel, includes 2 spools (main and spare), made of cold-forged aluminum and equipped with an aerodynamic AR-C rim to reduce friction, generated when casting between the line and the spool. A set of spool reducers was also taken care of, allowing it to be shallowed down to sizes 10000 and 3500. Reducers are extremely strong and light, weighing less than any fishing line they replace in a given capacity. Ultegra XTE is an extremely technologically advanced reel for professional anglers, characterized by low weight and great durability. Its usability will be appreciated by every angler who appreciates high quality and thoughtful design. Compared to the XTD model, the weight has been reduced by as much as 20g. Another novelty is the aluminum crank, screwed directly into the transmission to eliminate unnecessary clearances, which can translate into faster wear of the drive mechanism.
